Here are instructions for scanning:
OPTION A: SCAN & EMAIL YOUR PHOTO TO US
• Note: If you don't have your own scanner, your local library may have one (remember to take a USB flash drive to save your scan onto). Also, Staples, Office Max, Office Depot, Fedex Office, or CVS can scan your photos and can save them to a USB flash drive or email them directly to us (Include your name, email, and phone number when you email the image file to us.). Here are general rules for scanning:
• If your photo is 3x4 or smaller, scan it at 1200 dpi (save it as an RGB jpg file).
• If your photo is larger than 3x4, scan it at 600 dpi (save it as an RGB jpg file).
• If your photo is 8x10 or larger, scan it at 400 dpi (save it as an RGB jpg file).
• Save the image as a RGB jpg file.
• If your file is too large to email, you can use a free online file transfer like dropbox, google drive, or wetransfer to send it to us.
• Include your name, email, mailing address, and phone number when you email the image file to us.
• After we receive the file, we will email or call you to confirm that we have received it. We will then examine it closely and send you a free price quote as soon as possible (usually within 24 hours).
OPTION B: CALL US
If you are local and have extra large photos which don’t scan easily, call us and we can make arrangements to meet at a local library or Fedex Office to scan your photo. If you have any questions, please email us or call.

COMPLETION
After you approve our quote, we will proceed with restoration. We will complete the project as soon as possible. Turnaround is usually pretty quick, but may vary depending on our workload. Let us know if you have a date which you need it by. After we have restored your image, we will email you the digital image containing a semi-transparent watermark. Upon your approval of the watermarked image, we will send you a paypal invoice, which you can pay with a credit card. After you pay the invoice, we will email the final digital image to you without the watermark. You can print the file on your own printer at home, or get prints made at a local professional printer. Different printers may produce slightly different color results, so you should make a small test print of one image before making multiple prints. We recommend printing onto matte or low-gloss paper to reduce glare.
*For restorations over $100, we may require a 50% down payment (we will send you an invoice via paypal).
